DISCUSSION POINTS:

  1. How would this area be protected from an oil spill?  What about a chemical spill?

  2. What regulatory agencies would appear if one of your trucks, tanks, or vessels had a spill that entered this area?

  3. What cleanup priority is given to areas like this?  How is that priority determined?

  4. What are the state and federal laws governing oil spill contingency planning?  Which of those laws apply to your operations, which do not, and why?

  5. BONUS QUESTION:  There are four strange-looking pillars visible in the distant background.  WHAT are they??!  People with the correct answer will have their names added to this section (if it's OK with them).
